We were not sure what to expect when we booked this accommodation many months ago. We were blown away upon arrival. The resort of charming on the inside and with the spectacular views on the outside made it an ideal place to sit back and relax. The views were captivating. Rooms were spacious and with the glass deck made it a beautiful spot to just take in the scenery - with plenty of birdsong ...

We had a lovely experience at the Waitakere Resort. The staff were welcoming, they lit the fire for us in the guest lounge room, the restaurant had amazing views over a dense forest area, looking back towards the city. And our meals were top-quality. We stayed in a Premier Room with city views, the room was comfortable and spacious. Highly recommend this experience.

The interior is a mixed of vintage elements and stylish modern rooms. The expansive guest lounge was a treat - open fire and a wine with good conversation with other guests. Like going back in time. We look forward to our ne...

We had a wonderful stay for my birthday. It’s a beautiful hotel with great staff. Our massage and sauna was excellent at the spa and sitting on the big, open balcony in the evening after a stroll on one of their bush walks was so relaxing. This was made even better by the food. The restaurant is highly recommended, especially for dinner. One of the best we’ve had for years. Can’t wait to return.

On the day our guests were wowed by the scenery, views and how secluded and private the resort was, as they arrived. The staff greeted us warmly and made the whole event easy. The tūī room was light and warm with magnificent views over t...
