I lowkey think this is one, if not the best hostel in nz. Campbell is a great guy, the rooms are clean and the beds super cozy. Only thing I didn't like was the doors. There's barely a chance to close them silently, so I would sometimes wake up at night, when a roommate leaves the room. But anyway. I had a great stay. Looking forward to come again at the end of my trip. 👍✨

Verandahs is a super cozy hostel. The owner is incredibly friendly, always up for a chat and very helpful – just like his staff member Mat. 100 meters from 3 cool bars for easy night time fun and lovely cafes and restaurants too for daytime enjoyment. Room was warm with oil heater, comfy bed and accessible shower. Need to bring own teas coffees in room but has kettle and sink in a cupboard. BEAUTIFUL old villa style room huge high ceilings and cups up there too. Recommend!

I'd highly recommend staying at this place in Auckland! The owner is very nice & helpful & the whole hostel has a really friendly atmosphere. My room is great & the whole building is lovely & in a good location so you can walk to where you want to go easily. I also got parking outside the building which I'm really pleased about 😊

The kitchen is big and spacious, enough space for multiple people to cook and not be in each others space. The vibe is amazing, the staff are helpful and friendly. Close to lots of cool things to do or j...
