Soho Hotel Auckland (solo trip)

SOHO really went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. There is ample parking in this area, and a nice restaurant too. Our room was absolutely gorgeous, spacious the little touches with the note, chocolates and swans meant alot!! Thank you to Duncan and the staff, we're making this our regular hotel to stay from now on 😊

We ordered a spa room, thinking that this would be a good relaxation after a long drive from the south, went to use it at 10pm, but we couldn’t use it, the water was dirty & there were a lot of floaties in the water. Not the best stay unfortunately. The door to our bathroom didn’t close so we had to have it open all the time which is a bit awkward when here with a friend, the robes were so small and looked like they were meant for a child, also the texture of them didn’t feel nice at all, the hot tub wasn’t very hot and there’s no privacy on the balcony as you can see into everyone else’s rooms and balconies. ...

The hotel was great value for money. I'm sure the facilities will be great once everything is finished. The service was really good and parking was easy. The rooms were modern and spacious. The only criticism would be that some of the finishings in the rooms were a bit sloppy.
