Conway Motel (with kids)

Had a really pleasant stay at Conway Motel. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the location in Manukau was super convenient. Staff were friendly and made check-in easy. Would definitely stay again.

Everything about this place has been fine, it's a good price, apart from CLEANLINESS. Live cockroach in the freezer, suspicious stain on the duvet inner that looks like old blood, toenail clipping in the corner. Are there new owners? I come here quite often and its usually an Asian man and lady(maybe his wife) they know me well. Now there are Indians here. I've stayed in almost every room 😆 I love this motel and the Asian owners. They are hilarious, especially the lady.

The rooms are like Japanese hotel rooms so don't expect it to be big. There's a curtainless balcony door that can be bright but it was OK for us. Checked in late and left early. There is toaster, microwave oven and some cutlery. Noise is bad. We had some folks using the community pantry and they were making a lot of noise, having fun til the night. Pretty good. It's got good wifi, power, warm rooms, good beds, good shower. The service is excellent. I was offered an upgrade for no additional cost to a more accessible room because they saw my cane, offered to help move my luggage in and even helped put it up, and when I had to stay on for another week I stayed at the same rate.
