Such a sweet spot! Warm welcome, friendly helpful staff! Rooms, are nicely done - spacious, modern and comfortable - really enjoyed the Spa bath in the room I had & the shower was massive! Has a spa, a gym, a pool for the warmer months and is only a 5 min walk to the beautiful beach and lots of cafes & restaurants near by - highly recommend!

Stayed a Saturday & Sunday night recently. Nice to see the place had been significantly refurbished since a stay there about 10 years ago. It was nice to get some brownies on check-in,& the in-room extras were appreciated. The location was good, & i enjoyed walking to the beach down the road, & into the takapuna markets on Sunday. We stayed at Carnmore Hotel Takapuna for 12 days while settling in Auckland and had a truly great experience. The room was simple but had everything we needed and was incredibly clean—not even a breadcrumb in the toaster!
