It's a nice hotel in a good location but needs some improvements. Service was good, i had some issue with the peephole, which was on the floor :) but it was addressed the same day. Besides that everything else was ok. The kitchen had all the basic utensils, the view from the so called balcony (you only have room to put your foot there, nothing more) was great and the bed was comfy.

For a price tag for one night in the high $600’s, the room was rundown and felt filthy. Stains on the carpet, sofa, chairs, 1 X shower head was shot, pissing water everywhere on the floor (even with a door there to enclose the water in). Check in was a nightmare with roadworks and only advised of this the night before driving from mid-north island. Highly recommend parking at The Crown carpark as...

Recently spent 8 nights in a Tower Suite. Magnificent views of the harbour bridge and sky tower. Even saw a couple of bungie jumpers do their thing. The round the clock road works out the front was a pain, to say the least. Biggest complaint was the lack of service from reception staff. They were obviously not locals and had no knowledge of the usual questions posed by tourists. Waste of time...

The views were beautiful..and the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful ( after our first accommodation canceled on us just as we got off the plane). The room was clean and tidy and big enough for the 3 of us could have 4 as they had couch that folded out to a double bed..( not so comfortable) nice to sit in but not so nice to sleep in. Other than that . Would highly recommend.

Chosen for long weekend with my two adult sons as wanted value, central location, breakfast included. Staff were super and fulfilled my request for main bed to be made up as twins plus I had sofa bed made up in lounge which meant a bed each for the t...
