Auckland Rose Park Hotel (solo trip)

A centrally located hotel with free parking facilities. Professional and helpful staff. My plumbing was blocked and it was resolved immediately. Thank you Tony the maintenance guy ☺️! I've stayed a Rose park several times and it's always been a great budget place with big rooms and good views. After the refurb it's lovely. Beds have always been comfy but seem even better. Still plenty of parking and pretty easy walk to the CBD if that's your thing (I'm old, I drive...). My only niggle is the water pressure in the shower is very low, so you have to move around a bit to wash, but...

This was the perfect place for our one night stay before taking the car ferry to Waiheke Island. The staff were very helpful, especially when we realised we would need to walk our luggage up stairs to our room, we were kindly offered another room near the lifts which we were most grateful for after our long journey. Loved our stay at Rose Park Hotel. Lovely clean room, which has been recently upgraded (new paint etc). Good bathroom, lovely big shower too. We ate dinner & breakfast in the restaurant - delicious food with really friendly wait staff. Easy walking distance to Spark Arena for a concert. We will definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone 😊
