Abstract Hotel (solo trip)

Clean and tidy. No outside noise, only when windows open, Lots of inside noise, heard people in the hallway, in the room next door, heard a shower in the level above, water pipe went through our room.(secured to the roof, no leaks, just noise) Soft bed and pillows. Hot shower. Soaps provided. Hot Tea options. Minimal coffee options, Coffee machine had no instructions. I could have rang reception...

Was a fantastic hotel and room! The room was a tad dusty but overall gorgeous! Check in was a bit annoying due how busy it was at 2pm and there was only space for 3 cars to be pulled into the hotel at once. Rooms were very small but nice, clean and tidy. A good place to stay just for sleeping, and the lounge and gym looked lovely. Unfortunately I was double-charged for a parking pass through reception, and haven't been refunded despite following up on this twice. Bed was too short. I stayed in the Little Lux studio. Brilliant price at $115 per night. But I'm 5'10 tall and the bed was too short. These rooms only suit people 5'9 or shorter. Wasn’t a bad stay in terms of the hotel. Very neat looking. The room was nice, was tidy and had a good kitchenette. But when we came to check in on arrival the staff took a $100 credit freeze off my boyfriends card and we weren’t sure why as other hotels we have stayed at only take the card details down.
