How Baby-Friendly is Spark Arena?

39%Baby-Friendly
View Map

What makes it 39% Baby-Friendly: Babies need their own ticket, sound levels exceed safe baby limits, no dedicated nursing room, and prams must be cloaked for NZ$5, so visiting is possible but inconvenient and stressful.

Last international act I saw was back in the 80s in the 'super top' with UB40. Boy things have changed. And for the better. Plenty of kiosks & free water. The arena's sound system is 1st class & its probably the way I would like to see acts from overseas.

One of the best event centres around! Spark Arena has everything you need for a great experience. The only thing I’d say is there could be a few more restrooms, especially when it’s packed. We went for the Cirque du Soleil show — absolutely mind-blowing! The performance, storytelling, and energy were just next level. Totally unforgettable night!

I went to a show at Spark Arena and it was awesome! The place is big and clean, and the sound was great. The staff were friendly and helped people find their seats. It’s close to town, so easy to get there. I had a really good time.

I attended the James Blunt concert and was highly impressed by the organisation and efficiency of the event. Even with the large crowd, the team effectively guided everyone around the arena. The lighting and sound quality were outstanding. The only area for improvement was the seating, which could have been more comfortable with better legroom. Overall, it was an incredible experience!
