Fantastic, traditional museum, full of art and artifacts that tell the story of old Amsterdam. I loved the Van Gogh's of course, but there were many more interesting exhibits. Give yourself a full day and take it in. Lots of spaces to rest, and more than 1 cafe. If you love the hits, take in the Gallery of Honor. If you love ships and boats. there are some great surprises. Lovely museum hiding a few surprises. We highly recommend buying your tickets in advance. We could still watch the Rembrandt painting in renovation, protected by a glass wall (fun to see!) It’s quite tricky to stick to an itinerary though…

All of the exhibitions are aesthetically captivating with nice lighting and arrangement. The building itself is also beautiful, inside and outside. Imho it is a must visit place in Amsterdam for those who travel to the c...

If you like contemplating art, reserve a whole day for a visit. If you want to see just the most famous pieces, you are not going to be disappointed either. Lot of space, friendly staff (shoutout to the security guard who had a ch...
