You can feel the energy of the place. Knowing that 600 years before one of the greatest painters of the era lived there and walk where he walked and have the opportunity to see some of his staff it gives you goosebumps. And the representative of how he made his engraving and then the multiple copies of his art.. was just fascinating.

Lovely museum showcasing the life and works of Rembrandt. They have a free audio guide which provides more context to the rooms and certain works of Rembrandt you’d see there.

This was such an amazing experience! I had no idea Rembrandt faced financial difficulties, family challenges, and that his unique collections offered a whole new understanding of what inspired his art and how he lived.

A must-visit! The house is beautifully preserved, the audio guide is free and excellent, and the etching demonstrations are fascinating. Truly feels like stepping back in time with Rembrandt.
