What makes it 45% Baby-Friendly: Babies are allowed, but no nursing rooms, no changing tables, rough paths, and pyramid steps make carriers or bicitaxis essential and can stress caregivers in heat.
Note: Coba Pyramid Ruins is 45% Baby-Friendly. You may want to consider other Baby-Friendly Things to Do in Tulum for a more suitable experience.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to climb the pyramid, ride a bicitaxi, and take breaks for your baby.
Climb the Nohoch Mul Pyramid:
Wear your baby in a soft carrier and climb early when steps are cooler.
Tip: Bring a baby carrier with wide straps and practice at home first.
Hire a bicitaxi:
Take a tricycle taxi from the entrance to the pyramid base.
Tip: Negotiate round-trip fare (~120 MXN) before hopping on.
Use stroller-friendly paths:
Push a sturdy umbrella stroller past the rocky entrance section.
Tip: Carry your child through the first 30 m, then switch to the stroller.
Rest at snack and restroom stops:
Pause at the base kiosk and ticket-office restrooms.
Tip: Pack a portable changing pad; restrooms lack changing tables.

They didn't let us walk up the pyramids. They said it was too late in the day. Even though our guide said they close the walk up at 4pm it was actually 330 pm. They didn't care either. Biker who biked us up there was fairly nice but super rude when we left Because he thought his tip wasn't big enough. Have some pride and honour. And treat others nicely they are supporting your job and country and ...

Such a beautiful place. A lot less busy than expected. We got the Mexican buffet for lunch afterwards and it was delicious!

You can either walk around the park or rent a bike or rent a “bike taxi”(in the video). Also u can now climb the highest pyramid(Nohoch Mul), but be careful and get there before 4pm i would say because then they won’t let you in, and also its about 30min wait.
