What makes it 36% Baby-Friendly: Cobblestone climb, steps, limited stroller room, no shade, nursing, or diaper stations mean caregivers struggle, though babies are allowed; consider another park unless using a carrier.
Note: El Mirador is 36% Baby-Friendly. You may want to consider other Baby-Friendly Things to Do in San Miguel de Allende for a more suitable experience.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Includes private transport, short breaks, and time to enjoy views with your baby
Arrange private transport:
Book a taxi or private car that can drive to the lookout to avoid the steep climb.
Tip: Call the San Miguel tourism office to confirm vehicles can drop you at the top
Navigate the lookout path:
Use a baby carrier on the cobblestone steps instead of a stroller.
Tip: Test your carrier on similar stairs before your visit to ensure comfort
Take in city panoramas:
Enjoy 360° views of the pink Parroquia church, tiled roofs, and mountains.
Tip: Visit early morning for cooler weather and soft light ideal for photos

The climb up was a little challenging, but oh soooo worth it!! Don’t miss this amazing attraction.
Globe Trotter
Local buses rutas 8 & 9 go up hill and pass by this Mirador, better than going with your own car because parking is tight and almost impossible to find a spot available. The view is mostly obstructed by overgrown vegetation. You may get a peek from the far right side, but nothing worth the effort to go there.

Great view of the city that is walking distance from the center of town! It is a lot of stairs to get there from the path near the park so I might recommend taking the road there instead if you wish to take an easier path in my opinion.
Sanciro
Really heavy walk the view is good but not amazing to be honest, something that easily can be skipped

This is a road side pull out that has a commanding view of the city. There is also what I understand is a local custom of places padlock on the safety fence to insure a long and prosperous marriage.
Visit before 10 AM to avoid midday heat; June–September afternoons often have rain showers
