This museum was everything I hoped for. Frida has been my favorite artist for over a decade and I was so excited to visit. It definitely didn’t disappoint. Her home was lovely and felt so much like her. I only wish there was even more information, but I left feeling like I was on cloud nine.

So glad I had the opportunity to visit the house of Frida Kahlo and learn so much about her. A profound experience to walk through the house where this great artist lived and did some of the most amazing works. Be sure to make your reservation for tickets in advance.

Really great experience. Got tickets two months in advance. Glad we did this while in Mexico City! We arrived almost ten minutes after our ticket time and they still let us in (which was great, no wait!) Took us about 45 minutes to move through the entire place along with the clothing exhibit. Walked to get coffee nearby after.
Bring a light rain jacket June–September for afternoon showers. On the last Wednesday of each month join Noche de Museos (online ticket) for smaller crowds and evening light.
