Got given a room that had boarded up windows which meant it was dark and dingy after paying for a courtyard view. No shampoo in the rooms or hair dryer. On the other hand staff were helpful and location is excellent for exploring george town.

Rather disappointed by this hotel. I think most rooms don't have a window or the windows open to the corridor (I asked for a window and was told it would be upon availability). So the room is pretty and comfortable, but it is also completly dark H24 which I didn't like. Great location, close proximity to everything a penang visitor would want to eat and see. Hotel service is great without a hitch, rooms are cleaned and staff is very accommodating. 24/7 manned reception makes it easy to return after a night out. Food is everywhere even at your front door. Photos posted below and all within a 15 minute walk 👌

Bathroom water pressure was good, room TV is a smart TV so you can log into your Netflix etc if you wish to. The only thing about this room during our stay was - tends to rather ‘noisy’… you can hear rats walking/running alon...
