Le Embassy Hotel Georgetown (couple trip)

Penang road cendol is just across the street. Rooms facing the main road are extremely noisy, even during the middle of the night, management could workout and enhance the noise cancellation to provide a more quiet environment for the residents.

The room given to me was EXTREMELY noisy. During the day it was the hammering and drilling from the constructions next door. In the evening there are wild children running around with their loud parents. In the early morning, guests slammed their doors 20-30 times. The worst thing is the staff would NOT do anything. They seemed nonchalant. When complained to, they asked me to move to another hotel...

Too loud to sleep. Staff was nice enough and room wasn’t bad, could be cleaner but pretty average for the area. Biggest downside was the noise… no way could we stay here longer than a night or two. Noise from the traffic and people outside was soooo loud, I think when they renovated they should have changed out the windows because there was zero noise canceling with the old style stained glass. Good stay, love the ambience and the room. I think for those who prefer quiet hotel room, this might not be the one for you. I think one thing to consider is to put like a small rack for customers to hand their clothes while ironing
