This is a large botanic gardens that has been around for decades in Penang. It's very popular with the locals and tourists. It's next to Penang Hill, another popular place. When we visited, we noted construction of cable car system for Penang Hill going on. I believe project is going to take a number of years. Absolutely loved it here. A great place to spend a couple of hours walking and admiring the amazing scenery. There's a massive variety of interesting plants and trees. This place is very calming and stress free environment.. Is very close to mother nature and suitable for kids too.. Recommend place for morning joggers.. The only downside is we have to walk all the way in because there's closure road due to construction but overall is a nice place..

Really beautiful gardens to walk around and search for wildlife. Don’t expect banks of flowers as there are very few, but lots of amazing forest trees and some narrow paths winding through the trees and following water ways.
