What makes it 59% Baby-Friendly: Babies are allowed, but sand paths block strollers, no nursing room or hot-water point exists, and boat transfer plus midday heat can tire infants, so parents need carriers, shade gear and supplies.
Why 0.5–1 day visit duration is ideal for with baby: Half to full day lets you enjoy shaded spots, safe paddling and rest without rushing.
Beach shade & rest:
Use the island’s picnic shelters and tables under trees to feed, nap and play in comfort.
Tip: Arrive early to claim a shaded spot and bring a lightweight mat for extra comfort.
Shallow water paddling:
Let your baby sit at the water’s edge where it’s as shallow as 70 cm for safe paddling.
Tip: Always supervise closely and apply waterproof sunblock before entering the water.
Jetty stroll:
Walk along the smooth boardwalk and jetty for gentle sea views with a push chair.
Tip: Use a front carrier for sandier paths beyond the jetty and avoid midday heat.

I visited Sapi Island two times. In second one I did Snorkelling also. I enjoyed watching fishes, so it is recommended for visiting.

The charm of emerald-colored beaches you can’t experience in Thailand or Vietnam! It offers an indescribable sense of healing. Especially, the speed you feel when coming by boat is undoubtedly the ultimate experience.

Really beautiful island. One of my most favorite ones around Kota Kinabalu. Super chill and beautiful.
