Approved tourist place for island hopping. Prices have been increased to rm45,55,65. Best to get snorkels and life vest at the jetty for a fixed price before going to islands, if you were to go snorkelling. Total local price for 2 islands would be around rm85.

Arriving at the quaint Jesselton Point Ferry terminal or as it is also known Jesselton Waterfront, was easy with a grab. I was travelling to Gaya Island Resort, very good pre-booked service at their office to check in with my luggage. Here you can take the boat to other various outlying Islands around Kota Kinabalu and is the terminal for Labuan bound travellers. There are Plenty of food vendors...

Very busy at peak times as everyone meets outside particular restaurants before setting off on diving and island hopping day trips. Be careful when it rains, as it can also get very slippery (especially for those in flip flops!)

Best to check out the packages and confirm one day before you go for your trip. Many packages and service provider to choose from, just go with whichever you are comfortable with. Boat and island prices is fixed and standard across all companies. Definitely a fun and interesting part of our vacation.
