Prince 33 Hotel (solo trip)

Even though all rooms are non-smoking, there are still distinct smoke smell. Walls are thin and able to hear other room doors closing.

Good location. Overall above average with the room rate we paid. A bit noisy at night till late night from the music around the area. If you are light sleeper this place may not suit you. I am fine with it since was tire.

Despite its strategic location in Mount Austin, this hotel is extremely run-down and lacks even the most basic hospitality standards. A pretty good deal for its price. Paid about 40SGD for the cheapest room, for a night. It is well furnished with a comfortable bed, TV, 2-in-1 soap and shampoo, and a dental kit. Unfortunately, soundproofing isn't its strong suit - I could hear the lift whenever it arrived at my level, and also conversations along the walkway.
