Grand Paragon Hotel Johor Bahru (couple trip)

Stayed here dozens of time, have to really drop your expectation to a 2 star hotel in order not to be disappointed upon entering your room. Service is a hit or miss, sometimes respond immediately , otherwise conveniently ignore your request. Found cockroaches in the room about 3 out of 10 stays but it’s the only hotel left in JB city that still provides smoking room therefore as a smoker I couldn’...

2nd time checked in here. Checked in was breeze. Booked family suite which room very big spacious. The Breakfast buffet spread were amazing especially the roti canai, mee goreng, nasi lemak sambal and bread butter pudding. Didn't have time to try the facilities. All staff were friendly and helpful especially all front desk staff Mr Abdullah from concierge were extremely attentive and approachable....

I booked 3 rooms (Standard Twin) and all the rooms looked different. One had carpet, one no carpet. Room is relatively clean. Check-in was fast and systematic with sufficient staff at the front desk. Location was not too near restaurants, you would need to take a car. But it is quite near Plaza Pelangi mall which you can walk maybe 10 minutes Breakfast is halal at the Lobby level.

I would like to compliment on the excellent service by your front office staff named siti hasnida bt rahman Gp 3601. When i approached her counter, she gave a very wide sweet smile and welcome me. I thought i lost my passport and she went all the way trying to help me from my spore embassy to police report and even the last money changer i visited. Wow. My church LPPC just finished our bi-annual camp at Grand Paragon. Sincerely appreciate how the hotel staff helped with meals, cleaning of rooms, prompt service and going the extra miles to serve. We know it is not easy to attend to more than 200 guests as there was another church there too.
