Citrus Hotel Johor Bahru by Compass Hospitality (solo trip)

We requested for a quiet room, and they gave us the highest floor in Citrus Hotel the 10th floor! (Though it wasn’t actually that quiet 😅) The service was really good, especially for a four-star hotel! The hotel itself is clean and tidy, but once you step outside, there’s a bit of a rubbish or drainage smell. Overall, it was still a good stay and definitely value for money at that rate 😊

The location was good (walking distance to JB City Square and Jalan Tan Hock Nee) and receptionists at the front desk were the friendliest. Place near to checkpoint and just beside city square. Staff there so friendly and helpful as well. The room are just nice, clean and simple for a short trip but sadly the comforter not comfortable enough as it was rough and makes my leg little bit itchy,recommend to be sleep in long pants. We had the breakfast and its a local breakfast, the food was amazing. Overall - we enjoyed our stay

Great four-night stay at this hotel two weeks ago. Clean spacious rooms. Very quiet even though situated in busy area. Central location is ideal for shopping and transport. Close to night market and bus/trains to Singapore which is just over the bridge. Staff were exceptional, especially in the restaurant with varying buffet each morning. A strong recommendation.
