What makes it 84% Kids-Friendly: Fenced playgrounds, fish feeding spots, flat cycling paths and affordable camping keep children active all day, though parents must watch the unfenced lake and pay small fees for toilets.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows enough time for playground fun, fish feeding, picnic and a short nature walk without tiring younger kids.
Children’s Playgrounds:
Let kids enjoy slides, swings and climbing frames in two gated play areas.
Tip: Go early to avoid midday heat and bring a spare set of socks for soft-fall surfaces.
Fish and Turtle Feeding:
Feed fish and turtles by the lake edge with store-bought fish food or bread.
Tip: Supervise children closely near the water and bring a small container to hold food.
Family Picnic on Shaded Lawns:
Spread a mat under mature trees on the open grass fields.
Tip: Choose a spot near a playground and the surau for easy shade and quick access to facilities.
Arboretum Nature Walk:
Stroll the 1–2 km flat loop through tropical tree species.
Tip: Use a nature-ID app to engage kids and push strollers smoothly along paved paths.
Luna Lights Wonderland (Dec–Jan):
Explore child-friendly LED installations and light tunnels after dark.
Tip: Buy tickets online in advance, bring a small torch and dress kids in bright clothing.

Went for the luna lights wonderland. It was really nice. We spent about an hour walking the entire exhibit. The bug exhibit was the best, with the most detail.
