What makes it 49% Baby-Friendly: Babies are allowed and air-conditioning helps, but there are no stroller paths, nursing or diaper rooms, and parents must carry infants after shoe removal, limiting comfort and visit length.
Note: Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple is 49% Baby-Friendly. You may want to consider other Baby-Friendly Things to Do in Johor Bahru for a more suitable experience.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: This duration lets you explore the glass mosaics without tiring your baby and allows time for breaks.
Glass Mosaic Stroll:
Walk through the air-conditioned hall lined with 300,000 coloured glass pieces.
Tip: Carry your baby in a sling to move easily without a stroller.
Golden-Hour Exterior Walk:
Circulate the temple grounds at 4–5 PM when the glass walls catch warm light.
Tip: Bring a light wrap for your baby as temperatures drop indoors.
Athma Lingam Offering:
Pour rose water over the lotus-shaped Athma Lingam at the temple centre.
Tip: Use the complimentary shoe storage and pack baby supplies in a small bag.

A very beautiful temple! Must visit!

This place quite nice to visit. It consists of a lot of glass that very glittering. There are many local people come to pray in their way. Some people lie their body on the floor and pray. Actually, this place didn’t have something special for the tourist but you can go to see the culture of local people. And need to pay the fee before enter.

Completely different from any other Hindu temple I've visited.

It’s a beautiful temple, I’ll give it that. However, the entrance fee is ridiculous, they have 4 different categories of entrance fees.

A good vibe temple. On a hot day, with construction going on around, we went in and had a different feeling, calm and serene. Kaliamman is the main deity. Vishnu and shiva are prayed here. As a broad thinker, they have statues of Budha, sai baba, Christ and Chinese God.
Visit on weekday mornings outside major Hindu festivals for smaller crowds and easier navigation with your baby.
