Sotetsu Fresa Inn Tokyo-Toyocho (solo trip)

The room smelled terrible, like the worse ashtrays, the stench of cigarettes was horrible! The bathroom felt like it was going to fall apart. The staff were very friendly and helpful though.

I highly recommend this hotel for tourists. It is close to everything, a McDonald’s, Daiso and a book store and the Toyocho station is right across the road. The rooms are really nice and the staff are nothing but kind. The rooms get cleaned everyday and I highly recommend getting the breakfast package included. Stayed there in February. You can easily get there from Narita by train, it's very close to the station! The room with double bed was pretty small (could barely open 2 suitcases by the side of the bed), but I understand it's because this is a business hotel. It’s right beside the toyocho station of the TOZAI line, about 40 mins. The rooms are clean and the AC is well-functioning. I had a good view of the avenue. There are restaurants nearby but not very much to my taste. Overall, a good place to stay especially for female solo travelers.

Staff was courteous, room & bathroom was clean, beds were crispy clean, next to Tyocho station, have a nice cafe. close to 7 eleven & drug store & Mac Donald & other restaurants. Hotel provide a lot of free toiletries, nightly pajamas, sleepers, iron, etc.The only con room was small didn’t have enough space. I would recommend this hotel if u have family of four & want to be in 1 room.
