Hotel Wing International Korakuen (solo trip)

Rooms were tight, the breakfast was always running out and you had to constantly ask the service desk to refill things. The breakfast mostly consisted of breads and pancakes so not really filling anyways. Kind of far from the subway especially after a long day of walking

Hotel Wing International Korakuen is about three minutes walk from Don Quijote/ Richmond Hotel, about two minutes away from Lawsons and 711, good five minute walk to Tokyo Dome and about seven from Suidobashi subway station. I reserved a room for 7 nights and 8 days. We came to the hotel late in the night, tired and hungry after a dreadful flight experience. The two receptionists warmly greeted us and quickly prepared us for our rooms. After setting down our luggage, we returned to the reception desk to ask for restaurant recommendations. Couldn’t have asked for a better hotel for our first trip! The staff was incredibly friendly and didn’t mind me fumbling through Japanese to ask questions, the free breakfast was great, and it’s located in such a convenient location. The rooms are small but that was never an issue as the only times we were in our room was to sleep. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling!

Rooms are HORRIBLY tiny, you really given one small pillow and when you ask for another you’re told you can’t have one unless you become a member. Staff are nice but paying 130 a night to stay in a shoebox is not ideal. There is free breakfast (some breads, coffee, tea) with limited amount available.
