Seems like a Chinese owned hotel. Could have been a 5 star given the price but the room and shower curtain smells of odour. I do like the charging spaces at the bed top and the blind curtain panel designs. Reception was friendly and helpful. Location is not perfect but acceptable.

Overall a good hotel for its price range. Towels and linens were clean and I didn’t find anything gross in the bathroom. They provide general amenities. It is closest to Iriya station (about 5 minutes) but over 10 minute walk to Ueno. The room however is quite small and very very dusty!

I booked this hotel before I checked the reviews, and because the price is non-refundable I had some regrets and stress about the state of the hotel. However, it was wonderful. Yes, the rooms are very tiny, but they don’t advertise that they aren’t. You pay for what you get.
