Room was small but service was excellent. They helped us get a same day reservation at Robatasho and made our last evening magical. Also was able to ship our luggage to the next hotel in Osaka for less than $30 USD. Location and Service is the focus not the actual outdated facilities.

This was a phenomenal stay for our group in Tokyo. Price was great, the location is right in the thick of shinjuku, train station is super close, and it was right above a Lawson which was a major plus for us. We stayed here this week and LOVED this hotel. Not sure why there are so many complaints about room size - smaller spaces are a given in Tokyo and it wasn't even that small to begin with!
