If you like big robots then this is the place to go. The statue is out side a very large shopping Mall and has a great deal of food and retail outlets and Anime shops and this to do. The area is well worth a visit and is open and great views across the river. You can hire small electric bikes and tour the whole area in around 40 mins. Part of the Odaiba area complex that includes many various attractions. A must visit when in Tokyo especially best during sunset so you can view the Rainbow bridge light up along Tokyo Bay. Other attractions are the Fuji TV HQ and the small Statues of Liberty replica next to Aqua City.
