Couples share late-night dates with multi-course dinners, side-by-side massages and TV-equipped carbonated baths; however main tubs are single-sex, so romantic soaking together is limited.
Why 3-4 hours visit duration is ideal for couple trip: Allows time for main baths, hot stone spa, viewing spa and a leisurely meal
Large Natural Baths:
Soak in multiple indoor onsen pools fed from 2 km underground, including jacuzzi and hydro-jet whirlpool.
Tip: Arrive before noon to avoid the afternoon rush and grab recliner seats in the lounge.
Viewing Spa with Big-Screen TV:
Relax in a highly carbonated bath or stone sauna while watching sports or music videos.
Tip: Visit during evening hours to enjoy a cooler water temperature after sightseeing.
Hot Stone Löyly Sauna:
Lie side-by-side on warm natural stone slabs embedded with seven minerals.
Tip: Book on arrival to secure adjacent beds and enjoy the included hot drink.
Premium Lounge Upgrade:
Reserve extra space with phone charging and enhanced recliners.
Tip: Check availability at reception and upgrade early as seats fill fast on weekends.
Dinner at Restaurant Yurari:
Savor Japanese, Western or Chinese set meals made with Toyama Koshihikari rice.
Tip: Order by 7 pm to avoid wait times; expect mains around ¥1,000–¥2,000 each.

Just spent 3 hours, before our flight home. Loved it! The staff was super friendly and helpful. It was our first time to an onsen. Not as English friendly as other places in Tokyo but we made it through just going with the flow and asking for help. Lots of free luggage storage. Had lunch. Just pay for everything with your wristband. Husband got great massage too. Would like to go back some day.

It was great experience! I arrived early flight so I came to the spa. I could rest a little bit, there are enought lounge for all, 3 rooms. It was very refreshing and healing. I felt new! The only thing I didn't like is in the morning the cleaning lady turned on all the light of the lounge and start making lots of noise. The experience was excellent and comparing with another onsens, this one can ...

This was within walking distance from my hotel. I visited twice during my vacation and enjoyed both times. The water is the perfect temperature, staff was helpful and polite. I had an amazing visit both times. The only issue I had at all was that this was the one place in Japan with machines that didn't like my US credit cards so had to pay in cash.

I always stop relaxing at Heiwajima Onsen while a long wait for my next flight. This place is perfect for hanging out if you don’t want to explore downtown. The facility includes shower, onsen, sauna, steam room, restaurant, snack shop, spa for fee, relaxing room and tv room. I landed at Haneda at 6AM and spent 7 hours at the onsen for late afternoon flight. How to get there: Use Keikyu line at ...

After walking around for 2 hours in the Tokyo summer humidity a nice bath felt amazing and relaxing. The water temp is nice and hot. And compared to plane seats, you will get an amazing night sleep in the relaxation lounge (though you might need some ear plugs and an eye mask if you s...
