I visited the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre with my little daughter without high expectations, mainly because it was conveniently located near the Gundam I want to see and photo. Unfortunately, the experience was really underwhelming. The centre felt more like a small indoor play area and the number of engaging activities was quite limited. Good for younger children. The creation center was closed when we went and the rest of the exhibits and spaces were good but not memorable. The Tokyo Lego city and night time light up was very worthwhile.

This is an indoor spot with rides, play zones, and cool models, good for kids or if you’re a fan. If you book ahead, you can save up to 30% on the tickets from ¥3,300 down to ¥2,350. I went on a weekday morning, and it was great, no lines and not crowded at all. Plus, you get a free digital download of your entrance photo, which is a nice little bonus!

Recommended for toddlers! a lot of activity aside from building Legos like kingdom quest ride, merlyn ride, and 4D cinemas! Visiting this on the weekend without any hassle and the queue line was acceptable. It’s also tourist friendly as the staffs can communicate in English. I do like the idea of this place having restaurant inside so kids can take lunch break and continue the journey!
