Tmark City Hotel Sapporo Odori (with baby)

Cannot say enough about the staff at Tmark city. Friendly smiles every morning very helpful with Taxi's and other tourist spots. 200 m to Street car less than a block to shopping and food mall. Plus just around the corner is a little convenient store which serves soft serve but automated cow.

There were three check in staffs on duty and I have four pieces of suit cases between me and wife and they could see I was struggling to organise the luggages and none of them brother to assist. Probably they have their duties to attend to. Rooms wise no comment, mattresses on the floor. Ambiance of room cosy comfortable. Breakfast spread was alright and the staffs attentive and very polite.

I usually book hotels based on price and location, but I also pay attention to overall reviews, especially cleanliness. When I checked online, not a single review mentioned poor hygiene, and having stayed at many hotels in Japan, I had never encountered such an issue before. The hotel is conveniently located near Odori Park and the Tanukikoji shopping district, making it easy to explore the area on foot. The room was a bit small and managing two open suitcases was a bit tricky, but it was clean and well-maintained, so it wasn’t a deal breaker. Breakfast was delicious with a decent variety of options. I’d definitely stay here again next time!
