Jr Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo (with baby)

I really like this hotel. It's just a cut above other hotels in every way (service, amenities, decor, location). I hope they keep up the wonderful experience for guests. I recommend staying on a higher floor and paying for bath access. The bathroom with the classic style shower and soaker tub is way nicer than a more western style bathroom, though easier for me than a tall person to fit.

This has so far been my lowest setting for a Japanese hotel. Service, tidyness and location are top notch BUT the rooms are showing their age albeit the excellent upkeep. Despite the aging of accommodation, this hotel is my top choice in Sapporo in terms of the most convenient access to food and shopping in the same complex and to/ from airport. The check-in service was impeccable. Staff were ready to bring our luggage to our rooms (without a tip. This is Japan), staff at every corner were ready to greet you or hold the door for you.
