We attended the concert in the evening of 2nd Nov 2024 at the Sapporo Concert Hall 'Kitara', The Sapporo Philharmonic Orchestra's 69th Regular Concert. The orchestra was conducted by Tadaaki Otaka, a renowned conductor. The main violinist, was Sayaka Shoji, a highly acclaimed violinist known for her exceptional talent and captivating performances.

I made it to the location but was unable to attend the performance. A magnificent facility that stands out in quality and ambiance. Visited the surrounding park, pond, and garden areas. A "must see" during daylight hours. Weather was clear and mild...mid spring. Easy access from the Sapporo street car system.

Elegant building located in the centre of a beautiful and serene park, nakajima koen.. It's easily found if you take the namboku subway line, it's a short from the park. The musical programmes there include classical and more recent music from all countries. The staff is friendly and professional but very strict about no recording. The facilities are clean and the entire space is welcoming.
Spring brings cherry blossoms around the hall. Summer hosts occasional evening concerts outdoors. Autumn highlights colorful leaves in Nakajima Park. In winter, paths may be icy—bring warm coats and shoes with grip.
