It’s where locals walk their dogs, kids chase pigeons, and travelers like us take a breath between ramen bowls and sightseeing stops. The park runs east to west...

Located right by the Sapporo tower, Odori park is a super charming park with great views. It was not super busy here and we made it just in time to see cherry blossoms. While you walk around sometimes there are stalls that sell Hokkaido local corn. Really worth trying.

Odori Park goes straight through the center of Sapporo. It's a great place to walk, try some street food, and experience many flowers. The flowers are especially pretty in spring and early summer when there's an annual lilac festival. The metro station stops near the center of the park and it's usually very busy.
