A very cozy place for ski activities. Very reasonable prices too. If you are starting your journey into skiing or snowboarding, check this place.

Great neighborhood ski resort with very reasonable lift/equipment/suit rental fees. Very few foreigners. The crowd looked more local. It was around $6 per child and $9 per adult for a 2 hour lift pass, which is extremely reasonable compared to the US. You pay an extra 500 yen deposit for the card but can get it returned if you turn your card back in. They provide lockers for 400 yen, which was ni...

The bus from Makomanai station is very hard to miss. I went on a weekend and even then, lift lines are very short and the slopes aren't crowded at all. Great ski slope within arm's reach of Sapporo. There aren't many runs, but they were fast and groomed on the day I went. It's also cheap as is the cafeteria food (compared to other ski resorts). Good for a day trip if you're tired of, or can't get to, the bigger resorts

easy to reach from sapporo station. it offers shuttle to nanboku line. less than an hour is enough to get here. there are only few slopes but degree is enough for medium to high level skiers. fees are reasonable and restaurant inside is also not bad. overall best ski spot to enjoy ski daily around sapporo.
Winter brings heavy snow and low temperatures. Dress your baby in warm layers and limit outdoor time.
