How Baby-Friendly is Daiwa House Premist Dome?

79%Baby-Friendly
View Map

What makes it 79% Baby-Friendly: Baby corner, nursing rooms, stroller-priority lifts, and paid daycare make visits workable with an infant, yet long stairs on full dome tours mean some attractions are hard with a pram.

  • Complimentary baby facilities: Free nursing rooms, diaper stations, and baby seats are available on each level.

Challenges:

  • Match-day restrictions: On event days, the Kids Park and baby corner require a match ticket for entry.

Went there on 3.11. the football match has more than 26000 participants according to the stadium website statistics, but everything went well. A bit crowded on the subway.

Attended the Queen concert there. The concert was great, but the wait to get inside and the exit afterwards was terrible, likely due to the fact the vast majority of attendees arrived by subway and the station closest to the Dome is a terminal station, meaning nearly everyone was going home the same way. What is normally a 6 minute walk from the subway station to the Dome took nearly 45 minutes in...

We wanted to enter but its closed 😅. We will still be giving d 5 stars as d routes were quite clear and easily followed. We decided to make sure that we would at least be in the compound and grab some measly shots😂. It would look better in the spring but nonetheless, d snow made it mysterious and pretty at d same time.. Sorry we couldn't enter that early but, do check out our photos ya! Chee...

A great venue, both architecturally and the facilities inside. I went to two RWC games and the transport and ease of getting to the stadium were easy. For the seating, it was a bit tight. Also just wish you were closer to the pitch, but still a great atmosphere.

When is the best time to visit Daiwa House Premist Dome (Sapporo, Japan)?

Check the dome calendar: on match days the Kids Park and baby corner need a game ticket. In Jan–Feb, the nearby snow-play area opens—dress baby in warm layers and watch for slippery paths.
