Unfortunately, we were unable to stay at the Plum Hotel Osaka. We had to cancel the stay a few days in advance due to sickness. Although the rate was non-refundable, the hotel agreed to waive the cancellation fee! どもうありがとうございました!

The hotel staff was very helpful and responsive to our concerns (esp. about how the laundry works). The room is cleaned everyday and the space is not as big but it is sufficient for our luggage so not an issue for us. One challenge is the location as this requires "some" walking to and from Namba station and Dotonbori. However, It is near the Namba Yasaka shrine.

Staff was direct and to the point. Hotel is conveniently close to Namba and to subway stations. However, the room smelled strongly of stagnant water, and the view from the window was another wall an arm length away. It's good enough to sleep.

"Double-beds" are only 130cm wide, which is way to small to sleep in with someone else. Extra blanket costs 1k JPY which I've never seen before. Necessary equipment (i.e. hair dryer) is not available. Bathroom is not sound proof at all. Sercice employees are not willing to help. Quite area. I would definetly not recommend.

Wasn’t expected the sizing of the room. Turn out the room was huge (compared to my past experience in Japan) The staff is very helpful, u can ask them to guide as a local. Some of them cannot speak English but still they are welcome to help us so much.
