Osaka Tokyu Rei Hotel (solo trip)

Good location but room was very dusty with toenails and small rubbish on the floor. Even after cleaning this dirt and rubbish was still on the floor showing they don’t vacuum. Very disappointing.

A very good experience. The shipping company broke my suitcase, and they took it upon themselves to speak with the company and request a solution. They were very kind to me at all times. The room and cleanliness were great. I would definitely come back.

The location’s pretty good—about 10 minutes walk from Umeda Station, and you’ll pass by lots of food spots on the way, which was great for grabbing dinner. The room, though, was really small. We couldn’t fully open our medium-sized luggage, and the bathroom was super tight. If you’re on the bigger side (80kg+), the toilet might be a squeeze. Old, dirty and poorly maintained. The hotel is old, I can live with that, but it's dirty and neglected. The rooms are very small. I would only recommend two people, not three as in my case. The air conditioning doesn't work properly. We tried to lower it to less than 20 degrees Celsius, but it wouldn't let you, which isn't enough to cool down at night. Great hotel, restaurant has wonderful food for dinner. Shuttle was difficult to find, ended up getting a taxi about 2500 yen there, then shuttle on the way back. They stopped at all 3 terminals.
