Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport (solo trip)

Lovely hotel right next to Terminal 1. We stayed 1 night in an economy room which was a generous size with great amenities and a great view of the runway. Staff very friendly and the buffet breakfast was amazing! The only criticism was the bed which was very hard although this is pretty standard for most Japanese hotels. We will definitely stay here again when travelling to Kansai Airport.

We arrived very late (around 23:20) due to a delayed flight, and it was such a relief to be able to check in at Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport without any issues. The room was spacious, clean, and offered a lovely view over the airport surroundings. Couldn’t have been better. Arrived late 1am. Checked in very quickly and in room within 5 minutes. Room was clean, bottle of water on the side. Free WiFi. Took half an hour for the a/c to cool the room down but was fine through the night. Caught the fast train to Osaka in the morning. The whole experience was just easy. Would totally recommend for those late night flights.

As soon as you exit the hotel, the airport is right there which is so amazing. Before the hotel, you have a Lawson that’s opened 24/7 and a bunch of restaurants upstairs to eat. The hotel is beautiful and the bed were so comfortable. The staff were kind and polite and yes, they speak English. Great location 10 minutes walk to terminal 1. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. It’s very quiet even though it’s inside the airport building. The breakfast is outstanding with many local dishes and mikan juice! The croffle (which is a mix from croissant 🥐 and waffle 🧇)is alsow really good and looks great 😊 French toast is delicious! Servise is also very kind and efficient.
