Positives:

  • Varied Bath Temperatures: Choose from warm to cool baths to suit each family member’s comfort.
  • Kid-Friendly Support: Find stroller parking, diaper-changing stations, and child-sized toilets.

Challenges:

  • Bathing Rules: Children must be supervised and follow onsen etiquette, including no splashing.

Why 1-2 days visit duration is ideal for with kids: A full day or two lets families explore all indoor and outdoor baths and relax without rushing.

We visited between 2-4pm and although it was crowded, the open-air bath was quiet and the water quality was good.
