Kids up to 12 pay a low fee and get a shallow play pool and bubbles, yet high-heat saunas are banned and parents must divide by gender, reducing joint supervision and family time.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows time for kids to play in the shallow pool, try the bubble bath, walk the foot path, and enjoy a meal.
Yu-Asobi Hiroba shallow pool:
A gently sloped play pool with 30–55 cm water depth for walking and light splashing.
Tip: Bring children’s swimwear and water shoes for safe play; the pool is cooled in summer.
Ashifumi-doko stone foot path:
An outdoor path with varied stone shapes that stimulate foot reflex points.
Tip: Have kids walk slowly and name the stones to keep them engaged.
絹の湯 bubble bath:
A gentle bubble bath with fine foam perfect for first onsen experiences.
Tip: Use the handrail to help little ones enter and exit safely.
On-site kid-friendly meals:
Choices like Kids’ curry set (600 yen) and Wanpaku set (680 yen) with high chairs available.
Tip: Order meals after bathing; tatami seating makes feeding toddlers easier.

Great onsen. They accept credit card at the counter. Bring ur own towel or rent there. Well equipped with big lockers. They provided shampoo and soap. Decent with many types of pools with water temperature shown on meters.

The floor mat near each ...

Great spa to relax at. Our visit was included with the Osaka Amazing Pass when we visited and the baths were really great. I especially loved the outdoor garden which gave a nice breeze when in the hot water. Felt so relaxed after coming here. I would definitely go back!

Enjoy milk from the vending machine after your relaxation session. They have a restaurant too (but I didn't get to try because I was in a rush). It was a 10 min walk from the metro...
