The museum visit was surprisingly enjoyable, although it was a bit short. It should take no more than an hour, and I would recommend utilizing the audio guide. Please note that it is conveniently located near the station and requires an elevator to access.

I visited this museum on a whim without expecting very much, but I really enjoyed the experience. The museum doesn't take super long to get through, maybe a maximum of 2 hours if you are being thorough, so it makes for a great place to quickly visit if you have some extra time. The main exhibit is a recreation of historical Osaka that you can walk around. If you wish, you can pay to rent a kimono...

This is an extremely cool place if you are into architecture or into Japanese traditions! The place looks clean and well organized where tourists can appreciate Japanese art and architecture with little...

I highly recommend this museum. Walking down the streets feels like I have been transported back in time. Take note that this museum has a "daytime" and "nighttime" setting that changes every 30 minutes or so. It was absolutely magical when it changed from daytime to nighttime, and vice versa. Kimono rentals are also available at an additional cost. Definitely drop by when you're in the area.

Great experience. We rent Kimono for ¥1,000/person (2 adult+1 Kid). We get to experience life size simulation of Edo Period. Then we’re able to see one-floor museum of miniature of Housing evolution of Osaka.
