How Baby-Friendly is Osaka Ikuno Korea Town?

39%Baby-Friendly

What makes it 39% Baby-Friendly: Weekday mornings allow stroller passage, and diaper tables sit in nearby stations, yet mid-day crush, hot oil splatter and scarce nursing rooms make visits stressful with an infant.

Positives:

  • Stroller-friendly paths: Miyuki-dori is flat and car-free, making stroller use easier.
  • Baby-care access: Nearby stations and community centers offer diaper and nursing rooms.

Challenges:

  • Narrow crowds: Busy times narrow the street and complicate stroller movement.
  • Limited on-site facilities: Few baby rooms directly in Korea Town; plan stops at nearby Baby Stations.

Overrated. Good if you've never been to Korea. Tsuruhashi Station Shoutengai feels more authentic.

This is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST chicken you’ll find in the city. It’s super tender and crispy aaanddd perfectly salty. Combined with the kimchi from across the road you’ll experience the best (and modest) Korean meal. 🍬

This is the most famous Korean town in Osaka, I believe. There are many Korean shops, restaurants, cafes, and so many other things here. Just walking through this arcade can make your day satisfying. You can't resist the temptation to eat something and enjoy the Korean offerings here. The vibrant atmosphere and diverse options make it a delightful place to visit and experience Korean culture in Os...
