Babies are admitted free and parents have elevators, nursing rooms, and diaper tables on 2F/5F; however, dim quiet halls and scarce stroller parking urge short, well-timed visits.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for exhibitions, breaks in nursing rooms, and strolls in the plaza.
Explore Tadao Ando Architecture:
Admire the inverted-cone building and wide ramps with your stroller.
Tip: Start at the plaza by Osaka Bay for smooth entry and photo spots.
Visit Temporary Exhibitions:
See ever-changing cultural displays that suit short attention spans.
Tip: Plan for 30–45 minute gallery loops to match baby’s schedule.
Watch a Live Instrument Performance:
Join interactive shows featuring traditional Japanese drums and visuals.
Tip: Check performance times and sit near exits for easy stroller access.
Relax on the Seaside Plaza:
Enjoy fresh air and open space by the bay before or after the museum.
Tip: Bring a lightweight blanket for snack time on the plaza benches.
Use Baby Facilities on 2F & 5F:
Access free nursing rooms and changing tables close to exhibits.
Tip: Check floor maps to locate facilities quickly between galleries.

For any architects / architecture lovers of Tadao Ando, this is no longer a museum (former Suntory Museum) but a venue for touristic cultural show and a souvenir shop. The building is run down and a shadow of its former glory days. 😒🥹

He took our pictures, showed us the zen gardens, gave us priceless information and had so many amazing recommendations about staying...

What I enjoyed and loved the most is the rescue cat cafe in the building! All kitties are very cute and can tell are well looked after. I spent a good hour at the cat cafe alone, also ordered a latte there. I will definitely come back for visiting thos...
