Nishinomaru Garden - Osaka Castle (couple trip)

If you want to take the best pictures of the castle, the garden is the best spot to do it. I visit the garden in Summer time, but I was very curious to visit again in Spring or Autumn to see the castle with the beautiful colors of the trees.

A vast land size to walk without many buildings in sight. But it also has the nice angle viewing the castle tower from a distance. It is basic and simple shout much else to see, but a good walk al around it following the only pathway. Not a lot of tree coverage, thus it is uneasy to tour in the cruel summertime. Not many visitors either, as a treasure of quietness to enjoy your solitary moment.

Nice simple park area, more peaceful than the free grounds - very affordable at ¥200, but not a lot to see. Open greens, no ornamental gardens that we found. Some good views of the castle.

Sorry, but this is not a garden. It's a park and quite boring. Yes, there are sakuras. Yes, there is a nice view of the castle. But that's also on many other places for free. And they charge 200 yens for this. If you go there, I recommend taking a picnic blanket and do a picnic there...

Osaka-jo Castle Illuminage 2024-2025 is held at Nishinomaru Garden Theme of illumination is on Japan Culture. There is a huge field of waves and light on the field.
