Positives:

  • Stroller-friendly paths: Wide paved trails make pushing a stroller easy across lawns and garden areas.
  • On-site baby facilities: Nursing rooms and diaper-changing tables are at the Information Center and museum.
  • Shaded rest spots: Picnic tables under trees offer cool breaks for you and your baby.

Challenges:

  • Walking distances: The park spans 65 hectares; long walks may tire your baby if not paced well.
  • Gravel sections: Some garden paths have gravel that can slow stroller wheels; use sturdy tires.
  • Peak season crowds: Cherry blossom season paths near the garden get busy; visit early to avoid crowds.

Nagai Park was an unexpected highlight of my trip—I accidentally stumbled upon it on a random Sunday afternoon and was so glad I did. The vibe was absolutely lovely, with people picnicking, jogging, skating, biking in the skate area, playing soccer, walking pets, and just enjoying the outdoors. I even saw some unique pets like a bunny and a pig, which made it even more fun to walk around. It’s th...

A very beautiful local park with various seasonal flowers and plantations where you can enjoy a cozy morning or afternoon 🌺 The hydrangeas and roses are well planted like a dreamy garden 🌹 If time allows, you can visit the museum and teamlab exhibition as well! ⚠️ Remember bring mosquito repellent with you, especially if it is a rainy day as the hydrangea garden is close to the little river. The Teamlab botanical garden is sublime. Just book and go. A few days after the rain, please don't wear dress shoes since it will be muddy. Also if you are visiting during the summer, a mosquito repellent might be useful.

Teamlab botanical garden experience, the idea is cool, but the teamlab boarderless in Tokyo just seem much better than the outdoor one. Still a cool experience and worth around the $22. But it won’t change your life.

Botanical Gardens: TeamLab Experience - I came here for the night time light show. Very nice with ambient music and mini eggs. This is an experience for you to see with your eyes though, like taking pictures of the moon. Don't be an idiot and take so many pix which are hardly visible. If you have decent night mode, fire away, but remember to enjoy the experience.
