Hotel JAL City Nagoya Nishiki (couple trip)

We stayed in a quiet, well-maintained room with strong air-conditioning that kept the space comfortably cool. The room included a nice touch with a water boiler for making tea, which was appreciated. Overall, the cleanliness was good—except for the first few bathroom tiles in the shower, which were noticeably dirty. Aside from that, everything else was clean and in good condition.

I stayed in this hotel for 7 consecutive nights in Jun25. It's location is good, i can walk to the Nagoya train station in 10 minutes and also same time to the shopping district on the other side. Rooms are pretty spacious by Japanese standards and hotel seems brand new with modern amenities. Location wise, it is quite a walk from the Nagoya station though it is pretty near the Nishiki station. Many food options nearby though it is a distance away from main shopping street Sakae.

Very nice and modern hotel, clean and great amenities. However, absolutely terrible WiFi, I had to use my (expensive) mobile roaming in order to access the websites and applications I needed. In the evening particularly, when everyone is back at the hotel, their connection practically unusable.

This hotel has a pseudo-premium veneer that begins to fade the moment you get to your room. At first glance our room appeared well structured and maintained, but further inspection revealed significant hygienic shortfalls.
