Daiwa Roynet Hotel NAGOYA-SHINKANSENGUCHI (solo trip)

A budget business hotel located near the Shinkansen exit. It’s a bit of a walk if you’re using JR, but manageable. During my visit, the walking area was under construction, making access slightly inconvenient. The room is compact, typical for Japan, and amenities are available for pickup at the lobby.

We chose this hotel on our recent trip as we needed a place near the railway station to catch an early morning train to the airport and this hotel was only 3 to 5 min walk to Nagoya Station. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The staff were exceptionally polite, spoke very good English, and clearly explained the check-in and check-out process, making the entire experience smooth and welcoming. Conveniently close to Nagoya Train Station yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle so it is very quiet around the hotel. Very big lobby and the staffs are very friendly and courteous.
