+ Very conveniently accessible from Sakae Station, one of the major transport hubs of Nagoya. Room was compact but comfy and I had a decent view. - Pricing was a bit high in comparison to other stays in the region, but this might just have been due to peak season.

Great central location. It's both easy to get to this hotel (it's just outside exit 2 of the Sakae metro station), and easy to walk to attractions from this hotel. It's adjacent to the photogenic Hisaya Odori Park. It's also easy to walk to Nagoya Castle, Osu shopping district, or the Science Museum from this hotel.

We stayed in Comfort Inn Sakae for 2 nights. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, and the hotel itself is close to everything you'll need in a city (like malls and izakaya). It's also close to the Mirai Tower. The rooms are fine for single person accommodations. The complimentary soup, soda, and hot coffee/chocolate are pretty amazing.

Rooms are tiny but classy, clean and fully functional. Great location - short walk to train stations (no need to cross street), convenience stores (beside Family Mart) shopping (across Donki), restos, cafe. Free quality coffee at vending machine, soup, smoothie in the morning. Toilet seat had no warmer/defective. Lobby is small and has little space for lounging.
